Downhill Skiing at Mt. Pisgah Recreation Center

Located 23 miles east of Tupper Lake you will find Mount Pisgah Ski Area -- or Pisgah, as it's known locally. This classic small town Adirondack skiing spot delivers gentle alpine slopes, tubing, and more!

Downhill skiing

The gentle slopes, dedicated staff, and welcoming atmosphere make it especially inviting for family skiing and tubing.

Many green and blue trails for beginners out of the 15 skiable alpine acres. Vertical rise of 329 feet. The lift is a T-bar which allows skiers to choose the length of their run. Bonus: Lights for night skiing!

Tubing

This comes with all the thrills including taking you back up to the top with a rope tow. Two runs for inner tube “races” but we aren’t telling you which one is faster.

Learning

6 Week Afterschool Lesson Program: The Saranac Lake Ski Club/Friends of Mt. Pisgah hope to offer the 6 week after school lesson program for the 2021-2022. Please visit the Friends of Mt. Pisgah Facebook page for updates and sign up information.

Snowshoeing

3.5 kilometers of snowshoe trails with beautiful vantage points to see the vistas. Pisgah is well situated to view the McKenzie Mountain Wilderness and the Saranac River.

Lodge

Enjoy hot beverages and snacks near the centrally located, native stone, fireplace. Broad windows let you watch the skiers across the whole slope.

Due to Covid numbers and regulations, hours may vary. Please check the Mt. Pisgah Facebook page for all updates.

Tuesday - Friday 3:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Ski / snowboard season pass (Village of Saranac Lake resident price / non-resident price):

  • Under 4 / over 65: $30 / $55
  • Student 4-18: $125 / $150
  • College student: $150
  • Adult: $175 / $225
  • Family (2 adults and 2 children under 18): $375 / $450

Ski / snowboard day pass:

  • Weekend ½ day: $15
  • Weekday ½ day: $15
  • Weekend daily: $25
  • Weekday daily: $20
  • Under 4 / over 65 ½ day: $10
  • Under 4 / over 65 daily: $15
  • Holiday daily: $25

Pisgah is a year-round recreation hub. In warmer months, these ski slopes transform into an excellent system of mountain biking trails!
