The Wild Center's Animal Club

Join the Wild Center’s Virtual Animal Club, where you'll get to meet a new Animal Ambassador. We'll hang out with otters, woodchucks, turtles and more during these 45 minute virtual programs. School-age children (and everybody else in your family) can tap their creative side with animal inspired challenges that merge art and science.

JANUARY 28– Scuttling Through the Snow: Life in the Subnivean Zone

All kinds of animals live in the space that connects the surface of the ground and the bottom of the snowpack. This little-known part of the ecosystem is called the subnivean zone. Attend 2025’s first Animal Club to learn about how this fascinating habitat interconnects life above and below the snow and meet snow-loving Wild Center animal ambassadors.
