Change Is Sweet: Spring and Maple Season at The Wild Center
Bring the homeschool experience to The Wild Center and immerse yourself in STEAM-based nature learning like never before. This year we are offering private homeschool experiences, events, and activities catered specifically for you. Homeschool families are welcome to participate in private programs, meet our animal ambassadors, and stop by the Naturalist Cabinet for science and art-based activities.
Free for members. Non-members: Adults (18+), $10; Youth (5-17), $5, Children ages 4 and under are free
Program Details:
- 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Naturalist Cabinet: Maple Sugaring Activities, Pine Needle Porcupines, Personal Field Guides, Participatory Science
- 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM, Great Hall: Tour of the Sugar Shack & Maple Themed Interpretive Dancing
- 1:00 PM, Theater: Specialty Program–Stickley the Porcupine and the Changing of Seasons
- 2:00 PM, Great Hall: Specialty Creature Feature–Norris the Woodchuck
