Jamestown Falls is a short trail along an old forest road, which is not gated off, but not the best to drive. The waterfall is spectacular.
Getting there
From the intersection of Route 3 and Route 30 in the Village of Tupper Lake follow Route 3 toward Cranberry Lake. Continue to Sevey Corners and take a right onto Route 56. Continue for 2.6 miles to the trailhead on the right.
By the numbers
- Distance round trip: 0.5 miles

Hiking
This trail is easy access to the ten-foot falls, a nice short stroll to add onto your waterfall tour. It is also used as a canoe carry trail to access the Raquette River.
