Hiking to Jamestown Falls
This trail provides easy access to the ten-foot Jamestown Falls, and a campsite nearby, making for a nice short stroll to add onto your waterfall tour. It is also used as a canoe carry trail to access the Raquette River, and the flat road makes it possible to utilize a cart.
Jamestown Falls in the winter
This short trail would make for a good beginner snowshoe or cross-country ski, although it's best to wait for good coverage. You'll also likely be breaking trail. Be prepared for all winter conditions, and be especially mindful when near the water's edge.

From the intersection of Route 3 and Route 30 in the Village of Tupper Lake follow Route 3 toward Cranberry Lake. Continue to Sevey Corners and take a right onto Route 56. Continue for 2.6 miles to the trailhead on the right.
