Join us for President Quezon History Day on Saturday, August 3, as we celebrate the life and legacy of Filipino President Manuel Luis Quezon, who sought health treatment in Saranac Lake and passed away here on August 1, 1944.

Event Highlights:

  • Opening Ceremony: Welcome dignitaries and special guests.
  • Street Fair: Enjoy Filipino food, vendors, and musical performances.
  • Dance Performance: Held at Harrietstown Town Hall.
  • Filipino-Inspired Cuisine: Available at the Hotel Saranac throughout the weekend.
  • Special Guests: The Consul General and Deputy Consul General from New York City will be in attendance.
  • Community Participation: Members of the Philippine Associations from New York City, the North Country, Albany, Vermont, and Montreal will join us.
  • Cultural Exhibits: Featuring two dance groups and special museum exhibits.
