The Willard Hanmer Guideboat and Canoe Race returns on July 6th, 2025, in the heart of Saranac Lake! Whether you're competing or cheering from the sidelines, don’t miss the chance to be part of this thrilling Adirondack tradition and witness some stunning Guideboats in action.
First launched in 1963 to honor Willard Hanmer, a local Guideboat builder, this race has grown to include a variety of boat classes—Guideboats, Canoes, Kayaks, and SUPs. It’s an unforgettable event celebrating the spirit of adventure, craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of the Adirondacks!
