Explore the wild waters of Pine Pond on the Massawepie Conservation Easement.
Getting there
Pine Pond can only be accessed via a carry from Massawepie Lake. Please see the page for Massawepie Lake for additional details.
Paddling
To access Pine Pond you will need to paddle across Massawepie Lake and locate the western most bay, which is long and narrow. On the left side of this bay is the carry trail to access the pond. The carry is up and over a small hogback, but fairly short in distance. This small pond doesn’t get much paddling activity but the trail gets foot traffic for those wishing to hike back to the pond.
- Type of launch: About 0.1 mile carry along a path
- Type of water: Pine Pond is very sheltered and relaxing
